This has been my favourite film for quite sometime it automatically gets a 25/5.  Bjork  is amazing and so is David Morse. The movie is a slow and desperately tragic musical. The script is amazing, I keep retuning to it, I keep getting angry at the injustice and crying in the same places.

The film is set in seventies Washington State USA and is about an immigrant form Czechoslovakia struggling to serve her son. But do not be fooled, the film is a Swedish production and mostly filmed in Sweden and Denmark and is jam packed with Swedish angst. Oh yeah perhaps I should also mention that it is directed by Lars Von Trier.

25/5.
