Excellent freeing book on the theme of Christianity and homosexuality. It was good to read from someone who was not afraid to attack the subject theologically in the cultural context of the time. I did not necessarily agree with everything Ken said and he rambled a bit trying to fit the story into the context of his North American church, however it was still a very enlightening book.

This was a wonderful simple wee book of 'worship songs'. They are all a little different and seem to acknowledge that there actually is pain and suffering in the world, yet we can still sing worship songs to God.
I would like to see Jerry write straight poetry or prose, his introduction on the front cover was also beautifully written.

When reading it I was hoping for something a little deeper and more practical. Though I agree with all the fundamentals, I would perhaps disagree with some of the theological concepts of bringing heaven to earth.

Intensely boring and intensely interesting. I have only read Chapters 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 & 27. The book appears to be very detailed and for those who want to do an in-depth Old Testament study an excellent read.

Beautifully written and a total pleasure to read. There are many hidden gems in this book and it is worth searching for them. Unfortunately there is a lot of searching required to find these hidden gems and I would have liked a little more content and a little less flowers, but again it really was a beautifully written book.

It was also very ethnocentric, I had to filter through chapters of material that either simply did not apply or the numbers had to be drastically scaled to fit our non-USA/Canadian location.
There were things in the book that I did find useful and by the end I started to like the author.
However it still ends up with a two out of five.

The book is really let down by a lack of referencing source material, graphics that did not fit my screen and a little ambiguity around bible verses.
The last chapter of the book seemed unnecessary, but was interesting. Though it was biblical, it was steeped very rigidly in American culture making it a little difficult for this Kiwi to process.
I read version 2.0 and I suspect that these issues will be solved in the next issue.
Again this book has excellent material, but it only gets a 3/5 because it is let down by how it is presented.
