Verses for the King

REVIEWS

Amazon Review 5 star

Kelvin has written a well balanced compilation of poems. They depict moments in time, places he's been, people he's known, and experiences he's had. They are a literary painting giving you a glimpse into who he is. He seems to carefully choose his words within each poem, allowing them to roll and tumble like a dance across your tongue and mind as as you read. I highly recommend "Verses for the King". You'll find yourself picking the book up again once you've finished it.

This book paints a beautiful picture of the love that God holds for us and the connection that He desires with us. Every poem portrays a new dimension of the love that draws us towards Him.

I love it.
It is inspiring, profound and moving.
I love its theology and how it comes alive with beautiful, simple words.

I really like to read some of your poems during my worktime, when I need a little boost or a moment of inspiration/rest etc. with God.
Thanks for the great poetry!

How uplifting, every poem a fresh worship experience. I am an evangelical....so, of course, my personal favourite is 'You Are Welcome'.  But then again.....what is more evangelical that for a lost and hopeless world to see God's children worshipping Him.....who wouldn't want to get in on such a wonderful relationship!.  Thanks for giving me the opportunity to experience your delightful poetry.

In Christ,

This book of poetry gives you little stories, it puts old themes such as grace in new words, and all along it breathes worship for God. I would recommend it for anyone who loves both poetry and God. It is inspiring, personal and pure.
